What does this mean for you?

What’s INSIDE?

We’re building a comprehensive resource for all professionals across the global B2B wound care products ecosystem. A directory of more than 500 businesses will deliver value from day one. But Wound Café will fully come to life when members can identify appropriate company contacts, message them directly in the platform, and engage in industry-specific discussions.

Companies and content are being added continually ahead of our soft launch for Founder Members. The following video gives a sneak peak of progress to date.

PricE  TIERS

There’s no need to cry about our pricing tiers. In comparison with the costs of attending trade shows it’s super-efficient. You can join as an individual, or pay for company-wide access.

Early members will receive a free membership period and credits for referring others.

WHY ARE WE BUILDING THIS?

To succeed in the wound care products business you need to keep your finger on the pulse of the market, and the ability to build a trusted network of suppliers, customers and technology partners.

Much of this B2B learning and collaboration takes place at industry trade shows, conferences and exhibitions.

Think of Wound Café as an online B2B trade show and conference for the global wound care products and services industry. There for you every day of the year.

Don’t think of Wound Café as another platform to help companies connect with clinicians. Instead, we’re focused on the ecosystem of people and organizations that design, develop and manufacture the materials, services, technologies and products that clinicians use.

Kind of like super specialised version of LinkedIn, but with the advantage of being solely focused on wound care, and less of the distracting social media self-promotion.

100% of members will be vetted as legitimate professionals in the wound care products and services supply chain.

Soft launch in October 2025 (founder members only). Directories, Articles, Discussions, Jobs. Full launch December 2025. Lots more exciting stuff to come.

The platform is solely for legitimate professionals whose careers are linked to the wound care products, materials, technologies and services industry.

To join the wait list, simply fill out the form in the above section.

FAQs

  • The Wound Café is a gated online community dedicated exclusively to the global wound‑care business ecosystem. Think of it as a laser‑focused LinkedIn where every profile, post, and job relates to wound‑care science, manufacturing, commercialisation, and services.

  • The idea for the platform came from our decades of experience in the B2B wound care space. Many of our most critical meetings, insights and ideas resulted from grabbing a coffee at or near exhibition stands at shows like Medica, SAWC, Wounds UK and EWMA. We’re effectively looking to recreate a digital version of the same experience, so that professionals across the industry can make these powerful connections any day of the year.

Like a café, it's a place to congregate and engage in relaxed discourse. The upsides: it's quicker, cheaper, and there's no queuing. You'll just need to bring your own cuppa ☕️.

  • The international wound care industry relies on a thriving ecosystem of businesses - small and large. Great developments in care have never happened in isolation; they're always the result of cross-organizational collaborations.

The industry's facing severe challenges from relentless price erosion and regulatory burden. We're here to help drive careers, innovation and efficiency to enable more businesses to thrive.

  • We have a tiered membership structure: Solo Pro, Companies and Enterprise. More info here. For those that jump on board early, we’re offering free membership periods to account for the fact that the platform is new.

  • Nope. There are already well established businesses that focus on that already (we’ll have lots of them on the platform so you’ll be able to easily contact them through Wound Café).

Instead, we’re here to connect-up the ecosystem of people and companies that design, develop, manufacture, commercialise and market wound care products and solutions.

  • LinkedIn spans every industry; Wound Café strips out the noise so you see only niche‑relevant people, posts, and jobs. No unrelated ads, politics, or generic sales spam. Just wound‑care‑centric connections and insight.

And when it comes to chats, posts and replies, our goal is to have you feel more comfortable posting technical topics and questions in Wound Café than you would on LinkedIn.

  • We certainly expect to have some clinicians join. But more likely these will be KOLs who have a keen interest in wound care products and technologies and that already engage closely with industry.

If you want to market to clinicians, contact the journals, associations and clinician media businesses - we have them all listed in the directory.

  • Absolutely. We’ve taken the time to pre-populate a lot of these (500, yes it was hard work), but you’ll likely want to finesse yours and may choose to upgrade your space.

  • Use the Members or Companies tab to filter by capability, geography, regulatory expertise, or keyword. Send a direct message, or set up your own private Group Chats.

  • Yes. At Wound Café, we take your privacy seriously. All data on our platform, including 1-1 messages, is encrypted in transit and stored securely. However, please note:

    • 1-1 messages are private, but they are not end-to-end encrypted. This means that while they cannot be accessed by other members, they may be accessible to platform administrators under limited circumstances (e.g., compliance, moderation, or legal obligations).

    • We ask that you do not share confidential patient data, trade secrets, or other highly sensitive information through Wound Café messaging.

    • For discussions requiring additional confidentiality or compliance with healthcare data regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR special categories), we recommend using your organisation’s approved channels with appropriate NDAs in place.

  • Anything that advances the wound‑care industry - technical questions, market news, regulatory insights, job leads, lesson‑learned stories. Overt product sales pitches belong in the Companies or Products categories. We welcome longer articles for the News & Insight section, but these go through a quick moderation check so aren’t posted immediately.

  • Just like at a trade show, or speaking at a conference... you shouldn't be posting anything confidential (including Protected Health Information) on this platform.

  • Go to the Jobs section and click the button to fill out a form. We’ll review it and it’ll appear within a day or two.

  • By default, logged‑in members can view your profile. You can choose to show or hide your email address. We recommend not publishing your email address as people can message you directly in the platform, anyway.

  • Nope. We see Wound Café as a platform for all wound care industry participants, not a publisher. If you regularly post high quality content on other platforms, please do get in touch. We can provide you with more posting rights and help promote your own membership organisation (group, association, publisher, clinician education business, events organisation, etc).

  • We're deadly serious about pushing the wound care business forwards. That said, we're looking to create a community that's warm, sophisticated, fun, friendly and collegiate.

  • We’re a Global platform. Wherever you or your company is based, if you’re involved in the wound care products/ devices business, feel free to apply. If your country isn’t listed we’ll add it.
